Formerly a university accommodation block used by York St John & York Uni, Holgate Hall has become a privately owned student residence, and will be available for tenants from the University of York from July 2010.

The Rent of £50 - £80 depends on the room's size, and includes bills.

Holgate Hall is a self-catering hall of residence approx 0.5 miles from the main campus. The Hall accommodates 45 students in single study bedrooms, and has shared bathrooms, kitchen and communal area. Rent is inclusive of fuel. You will need to supply your own bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The residence has an on-site launderette. It is easily reached by bus from York city centre and is within cycling distance of the York.

Communal areas are cleaned everyday.
